Monachus Dead in Atokos

This morning we went to Atokos (Island near Ithaki), as usual we stopped at first at place of the seals ...

Something undefined was floating in the water, something that “was smelling” of death, reluctantly we understood, imagined, hoping that it wasn’t true ... We dived with mask and camera, the small seal was floating with its belly (certainly) pierced by human wickedness towards a sky that its eyes, still open, will never be able to see again...
